Active Social Care Ltd has been nominated for a national care award!
Active Social Care Ltd have made the final of Skills for Care Accolades awards rewarding social care organisations that invest in their staff so they can offer high quality services.
Active Social Care Ltd offer supported living, day services and domiciliary support in Kirklees, Calderdale and Bradford and the team have been nominated in the ‘Best employer 49 to 250 category’ which was open to over 20,000 adult social care employers in England. Active Social Care Ltd will find out if they have won the national award at the Accolades ceremony in London on Thursday 31st January 2019 hosted by TV dance legend Anton du Beke.
All the finalists have demonstrated their expertise in recruiting the right people, how they develop their staff to meet the needs of the people they support and can demonstrate leadership and management best practice.
Karen Pogson (Registered Manager) said: “Everyone at Active Social Care Ltd’ is so proud we have made the shortlist for this prestigious national award that recognises the time and effort we have invested in up skilling our staff who are our biggest asset.
“All the people we work with are also delighted for the team and are keeping their fingers crossed we can bring home the national prize.”
This is the 15th year the Skills for Care Accolades have been staged celebrating the outstanding work done in our communities by around 1.46 million people who work in adult social care.
