Working Time Regulations – Holidays

Employee Rights:

Employees are entitled to 5.6 weeks paid leave a year which includes 8 days bank holiday.

Employee Responsibilities:

  • Take your statutory holiday entitlement. Your employer has no legal requirement to ensure you have done this.
  • Tell your employer when you want to take your leave. However your employer can control when you take it to ensure there are enough staff to cover the client shifts.
