In recent years there has been an increase in the incidence of heatwaves, where temperatures rise to potentially dangerous levels for people in high risk groups, which includes many of our clients, e.g. older people, people with reduced mobility, people with communication needs and those on certain medications.

The table below explains what type of actions are required in the event of a heatwave.

In all cases, concerns should be passed on to the office.
