Recovery Post Incident

These things should be considered after an incident has occurred:

  • Immediate support for all involved
  • Record the incident and report it to the correct people, such as line managers, group leaders and parents.
  • Personal reflection – Could you handle the situation in a different, better way next time?
  • Investigation – Why did the behaviour occur? Can this be prevented in future?
  • What lessons have been learnt?
