Drop In Daycare Opportunities Adults with Learning Disabilities

Active offer a range of daycare opportunities for adults with learning disabilities.

We offer a drop in facility in addition to our supported, inclusive packages.

You are welcome to drop in any time between 10.00 and 2pm Monday to Friday. You could drop in on your own, subject to assessment, or bring your own support worker if required (must be able to show a care company ID badge or appropriate DBS Disclosure).

Active has worked closely with its Club members to develop a relevant, inclusive and affordable day care service. The Clubs offer a range of both high energy and relaxing social activities as well as educational, volunteering and work-related opportunities.

The service has proved popular and is growing fast. The Bases currently used are:

Newsome 384 Newsome Road, Huddersfield, HD4 6LR – Monday to Sunday
Rawthorpe 1 St James Way, Rawthorpe, Huddersfield, HD5 9NG – Tuesday and Thursday

We have plans to develop services in additional locations in the future.
